A. The University Emblem consists of elements with the core meaning:
- The pen symbolizes knowledge and intellectualism. The pen is also an embodiment of academic productivity and integrity that can produce monumental written works.
- Two open books symbolize windows of knowledge with four dialectics of religious, social, humanities, and natural sciences.
- The writing UIN with Lampung characters in the middle, symbolizes the institutional identity of the University.
- The ark with three layers of imagery on both sides symbolizes the scientific and institutional building structure that carries the elan of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (education, research, and service) in realizing a human platform with ISI (intellectuality, spirituality, integrity).
- Two open books at the base of the symbol symbolize the Koran and Alhadith as the main sources of Islamic teachings and the ocean of knowledge.
B. The symbol as intended depicts three images of meaning:
- The image of the ark symbolizes progress and prophetic vision such as Noah’s ark.
- The image of SIGER reflects global greatness and glory based on the potential of local wisdom.
- The image of a blooming flower as a symbol of life that gives hope for the transformation of good values.
C. The color of the university symbol consists of two main colors with gradations that symbolize the integration of religion and science, namely green and blue.
D. The color green symbolizes innovation, progressivity, continuity, and change, and reflects the environmentally friendly vision of Islam, and the color blue symbolizes moral integrity, nobility, depth, and breadth of knowledge.
