In this study, electrolysis with an iron cathode will be implemented as an additional method in the hydroponic system. The iron cathode is chosen as the electrode due to its potential to enhance nutrient availability for plants through electrochemical processes that can improve nutrient solubility. The research will involve monitoring various plant growth parameters, such as plant height, leaf count, root development, and fruit yield. Additionally, an analysis of the quality of the harvest will be conducted, including nutrient content and the potential improvement of nutritional value. The research methodology will include a treatment group receiving electrolysis treatment with an iron cathode and a control group without electrolysis treatment. The collected data will be statistically analyzed to assess significant differences between the groups. The expected outcome of this research is to provide new insights into the development of more efficient and sustainable hydroponic techniques. Furthermore, discovering the potential for increased plant productivity through electrolysis with an iron cathode could contribute to the advancement of innovative and sustainable agricultural practices.
