Proudly, UIN RIL Students Win MOSMA Scholarships to America
Titaniva Harton Kasrath, a student at the State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung (RIL) has won the opportunity to study in Uncle Sam’s country, America. Because, he passed the 2023 MoRA Overseas Student Mobility Awards (MOSMA) Scholarship program.
The program is one of the programs organized by the Directorate General of Islamic Education (Ditjen Pendis) Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through the selection of the Indonesia Rising Scholarship (BIB) on the 2023 MOSMA Non-Degree Scholarship as the implementation of the Free Curriculum in the form of a physical mobility program that provides opportunities for students to study at foreign universities.
The student who is familiarly called Tita is from the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty (FTK) of UIN RIL. He admitted that he did not expect to pass this scholarship program and felt very grateful after going through a rigorous selection. “I didn’t believe my own eyes (seeing the announcement) especially when I saw America’s destination. But when friends, relations, lecturers and others say “congratulations!” there I realized that it turned out that my graduation was not just an illusion or a dream of its own, from there a feeling of immeasurable joy and gratitude emerged that has never ended,” he said when interviewed by Public Relations, Monday (24/7).
