Coinciding with National Teachers’ Day, the Chancellor inaugurated 1100 graduates
Bandar Lampung (Public Relations of UIN RIL) – Chancellor of the State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung (RIL), Prof. H Wan Jamaluddin Z MAg PhD inaugurated 1100 graduates at the Open Senate Session for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Graduation Period V 2023, Saturday (25/11 /2023).
This number consists of 1038 undergraduate graduates (S1), 58 master’s graduates (S2), and 7 doctoral program graduates (S3) who come from 42 study programs within UIN Raden Intan Lampung.
This event was opened by the Chairman of the UIN RIL Senate, Prof. Dr. Idham Kholid MAg, which took place completely offline, divided into two sessions, namely morning and afternoon at the Multipurpose Building on the local campus and broadcast live on the UIN RIL Youtube platform.
“Alhamdulillah, congratulations to all of you, today coincides with National Teacher’s Day, we can all be like this and even achieve success and success for a glorious future. “All of this cannot be separated from the role of our teachers,” said the Chancellor when delivering his speech.
On this occasion, the Chancellor invited to pray for the teachers and also the martyrs who were struggling in Palestine.
“Let’s give a fatihah to our martyred brothers and sisters in liberating the Palestinian area. “And also to the lecturers and professors who have transformed their good values and knowledge throughout the world,” he said.
The song Man Ana was sung by the Chancellor together with the graduates and the graduates’ parents who were present while commemorating National Teachers’ Day.
The Chancellor also expressed his appreciation and thanks to the administrators of the UIN RIL Dharma Wanita Association and the UIN RIL extended family who had succeeded in collecting the largest donation among universities in Indonesia for Palestine, namely IDR 128,095,000.
“Once again we congratulate all the graduates. You become the chosen and special bachelor, master and doctorate in the current graduation. “To the parents and guardians of graduates, we would like to thank you for your trust in entrusting your sons and daughters to explore the knowledge and values of a good life on this campus,” stressed the Chancellor.
The undergraduate program is divided into the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTK) with 445 graduates, the Faculty of Sharia (FS) with 180 graduates, the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies (FUSA) with 90 graduates, the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication Sciences (FDIK) with 154 graduates, the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI) 162 graduates, and the Faculty of Adab (FA) 4 graduates.
The university’s best graduate was Siti Nila Sari from the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI) with a GPA of 3.96. The best graduate for the doctoral program is Rukimin from the MPI PhD study program with a GPA of 3.69. Then a master’s program in the name of Irham Fajriansyah from Masters in Islamic Religious Education with a GPA of 3.95.
Then the best graduates from each faculty were FTK in the name of Siti Nila Sari from the MPI Study Program with a GPA of 3.96; FS in the name of Abdafi Mahja from the Constitutional Law study program with a GPA of 3.89; FUSA on behalf of Femy Permatasari from the Islamic Psychology study program with a GPA of 3.82; FDIK in the name of Reni Astuti from the Da’wah Management study program with a GPA of 3.87; FEBI in the name of Titis Uswatun Hasanah from the Sharia Accounting study program with a GPA of 3.87.
Apart from the best graduates, there are also the best theses, theses and dissertations. The best dissertation was won by Ridho Rafika with the title Optimizing the Role of Babinkamtibmas Through Community-Based Movements in the Perspective of Islamic Community Empowerment in South Lampung Regency.
The best thesis is in the name of Muhammad Sufian with the title Tatwiiru Wasail Al Muta’addadah At Tafa’uliyah Ala Asas Mit Appinventor Fii Ta’limi Al Lughah Al Arabiyyah lil Tulabi Al Madrasah At Tsanawiyyah. The best thesis is in the name of Fitria Ningsih with the title The Influence of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk, Financial Literacy on Interest in Using E-Wallets in an Islamic Business Perspective (Study on the Use of Ovo in Bandar Lampung).
